HELLO!
My name is Cassie and I'm the face behind Hope Harbour Photography. Since I was a kid, I’ve been passionate about photography and can remember spending my allowance on countless disposal cameras. You can imagine how excited I was when my parents bought our first digital point-and-shoot. Needless to say, I took pictures of everything!
Now, Hope Harbour is 8 years old and I’ve never been more grateful for the people I've met along the way and the stories I’ve helped illustrate through photography. After all, your beautiful stories are the reason I love doing what I do.
My style is proudly timeless and authentic. I’m all about capturing my client’s true selves and encourage them to show up just as they are. So, don’t be surprised if you notice happy tears running down my face on your wedding day. One of things I love about being a photographer is all about falling in love with your clients, and the things that make them unique.
But who am I when the camera’s tucked away? Well, I’m the wife of a wonderful man that proposed to me in Peru while overlooking Machu Picchu in 2019. It was an unforgettable, once in a lifetime moment and I am so thankful to the stranger that captured that milestone in my life (see photo below). Isn’t it a perfect example of how photography immortalizes the best moments in our lives and can bring people together?
I met my husband while working at Fanshawe College and attending their photography program. We quickly bonded over our love for Lord of the Rings, comics as well as a passion for travel and keeping busy. You’ll notice I’m always on the move, whether I’m trying to get the perfect shot or throwing the frisbee for our pooch. Our little family consists of 3 fur children; Jarvis(our chocolate lab) , Gojo (our black lab) and Captain Jack(our cat). Those fur balls are our everything and I know your pets are yours too, so please feel free to bring them to your session. Not only will we have the chance to include them but meeting your fur babies will make my day!

The Why
No matter what kind of session you book with me, you’re in for an adventure and bound to make some great new memories. I’ll spend time getting to know you (an experience I honestly treasure) and will tailor your session to YOU.
I can guarantee I’ll do whatever I can to get the perfect shots. In the past that’s included climbing trees, squatting in rivers fully clothed, entertaining the pets and kids by any means necessary, and you know what? It’s always worth it in the end.
We’ll smile, laugh and, yes, we may even try some crazy things if you’re up for it! I’m all about doing whatever it takes for the magical shot and you wouldn’t believe the incredible, candid moments that come out of it.
A session with me isn’t just another photo shoot, it’s an experience designed with you in mind. Whether you’re comfortable in front of the camera, or a little more shy, I’ll take you on an adventure that you’re not likely to forget anytime soon.
Random Facts About Me
- Our pets are named after Ironman's butler (Jarvis) and the Black Pearl’s true captain (Captain Jack).
- My fiancé and I love to travel and typically check an adventure off our list every two years.
- I truly believe that a good dance party can help make any situation better.
- Unpopular opinion- I absolutely LOVE the Winter. The Snow, the cold, I love it all!
- Pizza is the number one best food. You cannot change my mind.
- Hiking and adventures into Nature are some of my favourite things to do. One day I dream to live in the mountains with all the dogs.
