WELCOME & REFLECTION

Hi and hello you beautiful people! I’m so happy you’re here - welcome to the my very first blog!

2025 was a year full of lessons, growth, and a few curveballs along the way. It wasn’t always easy, but by the end of it, I found the courage to follow my heart and take a big leap into my full-time photography era. Every up and down played a part in getting me here.

This year’s reflection feels a little extra special. It’s not just about looking back for the sake of it — it’s about celebrating what did happen: the amazing people (and adorable doggos) I met, the meaningful moments I captured, and the stories I was trusted to tell. Those moments are exactly why I fell in love with photography… and why I’m so excited for what’s next.

2025 HIGHLIGHTS

This is where the stats come in — but in 2025, the numbers mattered less than the moments. Since this was still a mostly part-time year, every session felt extra special.

What mattered most was capturing real life: couples in love, families laughing, and pups showing off their personalities.

2025 at a glance:

Approximately 22 sessions and weddings

✨ All centered on connection, emotion, and storytelling

✨The biggest highlight other than getting to capture all those amazing moments, was officially GOING FULL-TIME!! ✨✨

FAVOURITE MOMENTS

There were so many great sessions & moments this year that narrowing them down wasn’t easy. But if I had to pick a few standout moments, these are the ones that stood out to me:

A Surprise Proposal

My favourite session of the year was a surprise proposal for Anna & Ben. Every detail was thoughtfully planned by Ben and capturing that once-in-a-lifetime moment felt like something straight out of a one of my romance novels. I was definitely tearing up behind my camera.

From Bump to Baby

One of my favourite clients invited me to photograph both their maternity and newborn sessions, and it meant the world. Being welcomed into their home, seeing past photos displayed on their walls( engagement, wedding, maternity), and receiving their heartfelt messages afterward reminded me why I love doing this so much!

Dance Floor Joy

Dancing on a wedding dance floor with my camera, trying to be sneaky while capturing candid moments, never gets old. When parents laugh along with me or call me “truly dedicated,” I know I’m exactly where I’m meant to be.

LESSONS LEARNED

The biggest lesson I learned this year was to take the chance, even when it feels scary — and to be proud of myself for doing it.

Choosing to go full time was a leap of faith, and I didn’t know how it would be received. The love and encouragement I received from family, friends, clients, and even their families meant more to me than I can put into words. That support reminded me I was exactly where I was meant to be.

THANK YOU!!

Every single year, my gratitude somehow gets bigger — and yes, I’ll say it again because it’s always true: I wouldn’t be here without you.

To the families who trusted me to capture the giggles and chaos, the vendors who worked alongside me shoulder to shoulder, the couples who trusted me with their wedding days, and everyone cheering me on over on Instagram — thank you more than I can put into words. And of course, a very special thank you to all the pups who allowed me to spoil them with treats, give endless belly rubs, and call it “work.”

I’m so grateful for every one of you, always.

HERE'S LOOKING AT YOU 2026!

Cue the happy dance, because 2026 is officially my full-time photography era — and I could not be more excited. This year is all about more mini sessions, more availability, and more chances to capture the moments that matter most.

I’m dreaming of more secret proposal stories, more families and couples with their pets (and yes, cats absolutely count), and I would love to photograph a themed wedding. These are just a few of the goals I’m putting out into the universe as this new year begins.

Who knows what 2026 will bring — but if it’s anything like the energy already building, it’s going to be something really special. And I can’t wait to capture it all.
